Michael Jung, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Michael Jung is responsible for all the operative aspects as well as the technological orientation of the company. He is also responsible for the quality management and the area of personnel. Michael Jung has been with the company since 2001 and has been managing director of Nanogate Coating Systems GmbH (now Nanogate AG) since 2004. Furthermore COO Michael Jung joined to the Management Board of GfO. He has played a decisive role in the successful operative alignment and the profitable growth of the company over the past years. Michael Jung is in the Board of Directors of Nanobionet and a member of NanoKommission since 2006.

Michael Jung has many years experience in the set-up of operative business areas in the industry as well as the introduction of new technologies. After his engineering studies in manufacturing technology, he gained his first experience in the successful development and product introduction of complex polymer systems. He will primarily be responsible for corporate development, finance and integration. After this, Michael Jung changed to a medium-sized company group in mechanical engineering and plant construction, and took on the responsibility for all the activities in the business area of plant technology. Michael Jung was an authorized signatory and member of the management before he joined Nanogate.
