Oliver Schumann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Oliver Schumann is Partner of European Co-Investment Partner since April 2007 after being chief executive of LipoNova AG since 2005. Before his current position, Mr. Schumann was involved in the medium-sized investments at Resurgence Asset Management, a private equity company. Mr. Schumann began his activities in the private equity business as co-head of the Private Equity Group at Sal. Oppenheim where he was particularly involved in numerous growth capital projects and MBO transactions in the German market. Before his employment in the private equity business, Oliver Schurmann was employed by Arthur Andersen from 1994 onwards and then in 1997 changed to GE Capital, a company of the General Electric Group. There he was active in the central business development and was mainly responsible for contract negotiations and acquisitions of various business areas. Mr. Schumann studied business economics and has distinguished himself through wide-ranging and long-term experience in the financial sector with the best connections.
