Business Unit Leader Nanogate Industrial Solutions GmbH

Andreas Weis is business unit leader of the Nanogate Industrial Solutions GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanogate AG. He focuses on high performance surfaces for automotive, engineering as well as building and construction markets. In addition he is involved in company-wide business development projects on national and international level.

Andreas Weis has extensive experiences in mechanical engineering, especially in the building up and management of international teams with view to the Asiatic region.
The corner stone of his professional career was lead by an electrical engineering studies which he successfully completed as graduated engineer. He started working in the development of surface coatings and coating equipment design in the vacuum industry at the German company Leybold, where he rapidly assumed management responsibilities in international customer services and sales.

After the integration of some divisions of Leybold into the company group Applied Materials, Mr. Weis took over management responsibilities in international sales for the capital goods industry with focus on surface coatings for plastic foils as well as display and photovoltaic applications.

In the context of a high potential program he enlarged his expertise and responsibilities in business and senior general management. He passed trough executive trainings in Swiss and American management institutes.

Before Mr. Weis started to work for Nanogate he was responsible for the business unit for surface coatings for plastics as senior global product manager on a worldwide level.
