Nanogate at the European Coatings Show 2007 –
All-round expertise in buildings and interiors
Saarbrücken/Nuremberg, 3 May 2007. Nanogate AG is presenting solutions for surface refinement at the European Coatings Show 2007 (8–10 May) in Nuremberg. The Saarbrücken-based company will be showcasing a wide range of products for the high-growth segment of buildings and interiors at this, the most important trade show for the international paint and varnish industry. The company realigned its business units with its strategic programme NEXT in April 2007, and is also intensifying its industry orientation in this field.
Nanogate AG is presenting a comprehensive portfolio of products for the surface refinement of glass, wood, ceramic, plastic, metal and mineral surfaces at the European Coatings Show (ECS). Nanotechnology can also be used to improve products and their properties in the field of buildings and interiors. The result is permanently protected surfaces with optimum functionality which help to increase the value of a property.
That coating materials based on nanotechnology can be used to make materials water-repellent is a well-known fact; however, they have many more uses. For example, they can reduce the marks left by fingerprints and make surfaces easier to clean. In addition, scratchproof plastics and smooth ceramic surfaces can be produced. Nanogate-Technologie® also opens up new possibilities in facade protection, such as anti-graffiti systems which make it easy to clean defaced house walls. Systems are currently being developed for many other building and interior applications. These are designed to optimise the materials’ specific characteristics and thereby help to protect buildings and increase their long-term value.
